| Drodzy Koledzy,
Bede w Warszawie 17 maja, i szukam mozliwosci zaliczenia szybkiego SOTA w dniach 15 lub 16 maja, na południe od Krakowa.
Czy macie jakieś sugestie co do miejsca, lub może ktoś z was byłby chętny mi towarzyszyć?
Niestety nie posluguję się jezykiem polskim, więc prosze w odpowiedzi używajcie angielskiego lub niemieckiego.

I will be in Warsaw on 17 May and looking for an opportunity for a quick SOTA activation on 15 or 16 May in the area south of Krakow. Are there any suggestions from the group or even better, is there anyone who would like to do this together with me? Unfortunately I don’t speak Polish. Looking forward to receiving a reply either in English or in German.

Am 17. Mai werde Ich in Warschau sein. Deswegen suche ich nach einer Möglichkeit für eine schnelle SOTA-Aktivierung am 15. oder 16. Mai in der Gegend südlich von Krakau. Gibt es irgendwelche Vorschläge aus der Gruppe, oder noch besser, gibt es jemand, der dies mit mir machen will? Leider spreche ich kein Polnisch. Ich freue mich auf eine Antwort in die Englische oder Deutsche Sprache.

you think about HF or UHF/VHF activation?
How much time you have?
Whot type of summits you prefair?
Near Cracow you have SP/BZ.
SP/BZ-001 Babia góra is great summit for VHF too but it is full day trip.
SP/BZ-005 - Turbacz - another good summit time ~8h
SP/BZ-050 - Lubomir is summit you can activate realy fast (3h)
If you think about high mountines and have more time mayby SP/TA?
SP/TA-010 Giewont is easy.
Mayby SP/TA-003 - Kozi Wierch and SP/TA-002 - Swinica but only if you have good experience. And you need two days IMO.

Thanks you for your response. I was thinking of a one day HF activation.
I am expected in Warsaw on Saturday 10h00. I need to look into the train schedules to find out if I have to leave the Krakow area on Friday evening or Saturday early morning.
Do you think BZ-050 can be combined with BZ-080?

Yes. distance is ~16 km.
Pcim => Polana Kudłacze 2h
Polana kudłacze => Lubomir (BZ/050): 1.10h
Lubomir => Wierzbanowska góra (BZ/080): 2h
Wierzbanowska góra => Kasina Wielka: 2.15h
So 7 mayby 8h trip + time for radio activity.

| Welcome Hans.
You should look at SP/BZ-005 Turbacz.
This will be best for you, I think.
1. Good public transport connection between Kraków and Nowy Targ (busses from RDA)
2. Great views on Tatry while hiking
3. Trees on summit (for HF anntenna)
4. Summit outside National Park (so no legal troubles for activation)
5. Mountain hostel bellow the summit
6. If you get the extra time you may get the SP/BZ-006 or SP/BZ-010 (be aware, these summits lays inside National Park border - keep the trail)
Unfortunately 15 and 16 it's my working day, so I'm not able to join to your trip.
